Vendor Data Analyst - Ukraine

Project Summary
Tetra Tech is implementing the recently awarded five-year USAID Securing Power, Advancing Resilience & Connectivity Activity (SPARC), which will provide strategic technical and procurement assistance to the Government of Ukraine (GOU), focusing on enhancing the resilience, reliability, affordability, and security of the electricity, natural gas, and district heating sectors. This includes addressing the challenges posed by the current war, as well as preparing for future post-war reconstruction in Ukraine.
Position Summary
Tetra Tech ES, Inc. seeks an experienced Vendor Data Analyst to oversee vendor relationships and analyze supplier performance metrics for the SPARC project. This role is critical for ensuring that vendor partnerships are optimized for quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance. The Vendor Data Analyst will lead efforts to establish strong vendor partnerships, monitor supplier performance, and leverage data analytics to inform procurement and supply chain strategies. The role also involves developing and maintaining effective communication and reporting channels with vendors to support project goals. This is a full-time, one-year position with the potential for extension based on project requirements and individual performance. Candidates must be based in and authorized to work in Ukraine for the duration of the assignment. Travel within Ukraine and abroad may be required.
Position Responsibilities
· Develop, Maintain, and Monitor SPARC’s vendor database.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring alignment with project standards and requirements.
· Establish performance metrics and regularly assess supplier performance against agreed-upon benchmarks to maintain high-quality service.
· Use data analytics to monitor and report on vendor performance, cost trends, and supply chain efficiencies, presenting findings to the Supply Chain Lead and other stakeholders.
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor performance.
· Collaborate with sourcing, procurement, and market research teams to ensure cohesive and efficient vendor management.
· Lead initiatives to improve vendor management processes, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
· Provide guidance and training to project staff on best practices in vendor management and compliance standards.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vendor management or supply chain analytics, preferably within a procurement-focused environment. · Strong proficiency in data analytics and performance measurement tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting software. · Knowledge of USAID compliance requirements and procurement regulations is an advantage. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong vendor relationships. · Proven analytical skills, with experience in developing and monitoring key performance metrics. · Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects. · Fluency in English and Ukrainian, with strong written and verbal communication skills. |
