Team Lead, MENA MELS Activity

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in economics, international studies or related discipline required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, including conducting evaluations of economic growth and stabilization projects, required.
• Understanding of qualitative research methods for data collection and analysis, including conducting literature review/desk studies, in-person semi structured interviews and experience conducting key informant interviews and group discussions is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of public finance reform and/or economic stabilization activities, required.
• Understanding of USAID’s objectives, approaches, and operations. Sound knowledge of USAID program cycle and USAID evaluation requirements and relevant Agency guidance, preferred.
• Experience leading evaluation teams, including overseeing data collection and analysis is required.
• Experience working in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region, preferred.
• Experience conducting evaluations of USAID-funded activities, preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and advanced writing skills required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic required.
