Project Summary:
The purpose of Afghanistan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (AMELA) is to provide monitoring, evaluation, and learning support services/assistance to strengthen the implementation of USAID development programs in Afghanistan, and to build the technical monitoring and evaluation (M&E) knowledge and skills of USAID/Afghanistan Mission staff and stakeholders. The services provided under AMELA will contribute to supporting USAID/Afghanistan as an effective development organization with strong learning and adaptive management processes.

Position Summary:
The Survey Specialist will assist the Partner Landscape Assessment Team Lead and the team throughout the analysis phase and be available to help during report drafting. The estimated level of effort for this position is up to five days.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with study design and instruments.
- Review drafts and evaluation.
- Facilitate, participate in, and contribute to technical and coordination meetings, workshops, and other events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any aspect of international development is required. Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in research, gender, and international development is required.
- Experience working with USAID and/or other international donors preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required.
