Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering, science, or a related field  is required.
  • Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience providing technical, regulatory, and managerial leadership and guidance of projects in the energy and/or industrial market sectors that include solid and liquid waste management (characterization, handling, and disposal), groundwater (RCRA) and wastewater (NPDES) permitting and compliance monitoring/reporting, and greenfield and brownfield site permitting, development, and remediation/restoration. Experience in coal-fired power generation/transmission, mining, and oil and gas projects is preferred.
  • Direct and extensive experience working with state and local regulatory agencies in the solid waste, water quality, waterways/wetlands, and erosion and sedimentation control branches in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland. 
  • Successful demonstration of subject matter expertise and past leadership and teamwork skills to support project pursuits and implementation of projects through all phases of work (planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout).
  • Qualifications and ability to guide and provide senior review of work performed by supporting technical staff are required.
  • Team builder with the ability to mentor, develop, and facilitate quality performance from the individuals within our technical work groups is also required.
  • Computer skills must include the Microsoft Office software suite, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Teams required, and competence in PowerPoint and Project preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and ready access to a legally registered and insured vehicle or public transportation to meet work commuting needs, with ability to operate 2WD and 4WD vehicles.
