Senior Technical Advisor, MENA MELS Activity

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, public or development finance, or accounting is required.
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in a senior line or advisory position to a ministry of finance or equivalent experience with international financial institutions or development partners required.
• Knowledge and understanding of economic development sector, institutions, and actors in Egypt, as well as donor-funded support to the sector required.
• Knowledge and understanding of public investment planning, implementation, and monitoring; fiscal management, budgeting, and expenditure; and financial management reform implementation particularly in the areas of reforms of public investment management, fiscal risk management, and fiscal transparency.
• Experience participating in donor-funded evaluations strongly preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and advanced writing skills required.
• Ability to travel to/in Egypt required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
