Senior Electrical Engineer
Glumac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our world-class Electrical Team. This is a rare opportunity to fulfill a senior role for the Irvine and San Diego Electrical group. The successful professional will be someone who has a proven track record of delivering complete, successful electrical designs of various scales in various market sectors and is enthusiastic about providing leadership and mentorship in our collaborative team environment.
This role will design and plan electrical power systems for all types of projects including but not limited to: industrial and manufacturing facilities, hospitals, laboratories, high-rise offices, educational facilities, and other commercial and institutional projects. In this position, you will act as the “Engineer of Record” and oversee the electrical engineering team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet various deadlines and budgetary constraints.
The successful candidate excels at the design and specification of power and control systems, system layouts, load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection, and at performing calculations of lighting systems and associated controls for assigned projects. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing MEP systems designed by others, interface with code officials and contractors, and work with architects and other clients to ensure a high quality of work produced by the electrical design team members through proper quality control.
You will excel at this position if you have 12+ years of experience with technical lead and design experience, have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience, and have strong knowledge in REVIT. A current Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment. You must be located in Irvine or San Diego AND ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.S. to attend project meetings on-site as needed to facilitate collaboration. Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
