The position is based in Dallas, Texas or Oklahoma City, OK.

 

 

Your Role:

  • Manage and build a construction Engineering & Inspection program and supervise a group of construction inspection employees in the state of Texas. Your Role requires extensive Business development & Marketing while managing a diverse range of clients for publicly funded infrastructure projects.

  

 

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Masters is preferred.
  • Must be a registered professional Engineer in the state of Texas and be able to obtain Licenses in other states within 6 months. CEI Certifications with TXDOT is required.
  • Must be able to review plans and create a constructability review for the design group.
  • This position requires Submittal and interview with clients for posting. Must be a good speaker and technically sound. Be able to put a proposal together with help from BD group.
  • Must have experience as a Resident Engineer handling public funds. TXDOT experience is preferred. Minimum of 8 years as Resident Engineer is required.
  • Must have experience in contract management and Client relations during construction.
  • Be able to issue progressive estimates, change orders, and close out paperwork on CEI projects. TXDOT experience is a plus.
  • Able to hold meeting on site and in the office with clients, contractors, municipalities, and general public. Including pre con and final inspection.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, including WORD, Excel Spreadsheet, TEAMS, and outlook. Experience in Site Manager or APW is preferred.
  • Must be able manage a diverse group ranging from other PEs, EITs, Inspectors, Administrators and Construction Auditors.
  • This position requires travel within the state and sometimes national. Must have a clean driving record. DMV report will be conducted prior to employment.
  • This position requires management skills and being able to work with other managers in different Disciplines.
  • As a manger, it is required to meet with corporate to manage Income Vs Spending. Experience in Budgets, profitability, invoicing, AOP, progressive CPMs, is a must.
