About the Role:
We have a strong project line up for 2026 and beyond. In this technical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for leading and ensuring technical excellence across a broad portfolio of contaminated land projects including Defence, Petroleum, Local Government, Mining and Resources sectors.
You’ll play a key role in strategic project leadership, shaping innovative technical strategies, mentoring and developing talent and setting the benchmark for quality. With support from our East Coast Environmental and Geotechnical Leadership teams, you’ll also actively build strong client relationships and identify and pursue business growth opportunities.

You’re a respected environmental leader recognised for your technical expertise in contaminated land assessment, management, and remediation and for your dedication to quality. You thrive on delivering smart, practical solutions that make a real difference. Passionate about building trusted client partnerships, you bring both energy and collaboration to every challenge.
What You’ll Bring:
Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering, geoscience or hydrogeology.
CEnvP (Site Contamination Specialist) accreditation.
Extensive experience in contaminated land assessment, management, and remediation within consulting firms.
Proven track record in leading large-scale and complex contaminated land projects.
Established client base in Queensland (developers, infrastructure, energy, defence, mining and government sectors).
Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and repeat work generation.
Commercially astute, with strong financial, risk, and contract management experience.
Mentoring & technical leadership skills.
Australian working rights and driver’s licence required.
Active participation in industry bodies such as ALGA, EIANZ, ACLCA or Engineers Australia and experience contributing to or publishing technical papers is desirable.
