Piping Designer
- Generates 3D piping and equipment models under direct supervision.
- Occasionally provides verbal input during model reviews.
- Drafts P&IDs from a set of redlines using company/client drafting guidelines.
- With minimal supervision generates project deliverables (isometrics, piping plans, plot plans, MTO's) and reviews prior to submitting for checking.
- Has a basic level of understanding of pipe specifications and materials through knowledge of ASTM and ASME codes and standards.
- Has a basic level of understanding of process flow through facilities, including well pads, compressor stations, dehy units, gas processing, SWDs and refineries.
- Required: High school diploma and post-secondary training preferred.
- Minimum 2-6 years’ experience in design, drafting and modeling.
- Demonstrated capability in successfully completing projects.
- Experience in design, drafting and modeling.
- Oil and Gas experience including refineries and gas processing.
- Proficient in current engineering design and drafting software packages.
- Operational knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs.
- AutoCAD 3D design, CADWorx a plus.
- Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
- Constantly use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate objects.
- Light work that includes lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and, occasionally, up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks.
- Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
- Requires composure and ability to prioritize and manage several urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a prominent level of competence and accuracy.

- This position offers the flexibility to have a hybrid in-office work schedule.
- Travel: Less than 15%
