Tetra Tech’s High Performance Building Division has an immediate full time opening for a project management professional, with 5+ years’ experience with the option for flexible workplace arrangements. The position provides leadership for manufacturer compliance with a focus on product chemical regulations. The Project Manager duties will include managing existing client needs and supervising a team of Tetra Tech scientists and technicians. This role will also be responsible for overseeing projects in areas of chemical compliance and data.

In this role you will:

  • Support operations management by delivering project outcomes with annual operating plan commitments to margin, growth and utilization goals.
  • Expand Tetra Tech’s footprint in the business line through new projects with existing clients and new clients.
  • Assess environmental impact and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess quality of services.
  • Data analysis and reporting: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc.
  • Team supervision and engagement.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to address any data gaps.
  • Coordinate and responsible for the oversight and management of any process and system changes to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ project management experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing setting with at least one year experience supervising a team of 2-3.
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Marketing from a four-year University or College.
  • Must have experience working with the International Material Data System (IMDS).
  • Effective, professional, and technical communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Well adept and successful at building and maintaining consultant-client relationships.
  • Confident and disciplined; evidence of strong logic and analytical skills; and capabilities to deliver quality work products.
  • Ability to travel periodically to client sites, both local and distant.
  • Position open to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with CDX, IPoint iPCA, Assent ACM
  • Knowledge of ELV, RoHS, SCIP and REACH
