Lead Stress Engineer
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Related experience in pipeline, piping design and stress analysis
- Strong working knowledge of industry Codes and Standards (ASME, ASTM, CSA, API, NEMA, NFPA, etc)
- Working knowledge of the requirements of BC Safety Authority (BCSA) and Alberta Safety Authority (ABSA)
- Proficiency in stress analysis using Caesar II and/or AutoPIPE
- Experience in hot tapping calculations on piping, tanks, and pressure vessels
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis software such as Nozzle-Pro and FE-Pipe will be an asset
- Experience in the practical aspects of equipment and piping system and support design, installation and start-up
- Engineering experience within an industrial consulting engineering environment is required
- Strong interpersonal skills for both client and internal team interfaces
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in BC and/or Alberta
