Electrical Apprentice (West TX/Southern NM)

Position Summary
Tetra Tech Digital Systems is seeking motivated, safety-focused Electrical Apprentices to support industrial electrical projects throughout West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside skilled electricians, and build a rewarding career in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
- Support conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, panel installations, and equipment hookups.
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in jobsite safety programs.
- Travel to customer sites throughout West Texas and New Mexico as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-4 years of electrical, construction, industrial, or related trade experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and safe work practices.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Texas Electrical Apprentice License preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime and travel as project needs require.
