10-15 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years of experience in managing civil engineering projects. Experience with the following tasks is required:

 

  • Working as part of a project team
  • Modeling and analyzing site drainage and stormwater management best management practices
  • Reviewing regulatory codes and requirements for compliance and permit submissions
  • Reviewing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and information
  • Reviewing plans, reports, and other documents for relevant content
  • Preparing written documents and reports based on data and information reviewed
  • Working with a wide variety of stakeholders from the public and private sectors
  • Public meeting presentations and interviewing local officials and other stakeholders
  • Participating in and conducting meetings
  • Preparing construction plans using CAD or other software on various civil and environmental engineering projects
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Demonstrated success in marketing services to potential clients

Knowledge of stormwater management practices and computations. Proficiency with HydroCAD, Hydraflow Stormsewers, FlowMaster, Culvert Master, HecRas and/or similar programs. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred, ArcGIS and/or Microstation is desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, the general public, elected officials, business leaders, review agency representatives and a variety of other stakeholders.

Technical and non-technical writing; Information and data analysis; Public speaking; Multi-tasking and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously; Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass a motor vehicle records check. 


Required - B.S degree in engineering, licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.

 

The position's primary work environment is an office environment. The position will require occasional travel to client sites and other locations to conduct meetings, site visits, etc. Some occasional evening and/or weekend work and/or travel will be required.
