Civil Engineer
Qualifications & Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Basic understanding of the following areas of civil engineering: site grading and earthworks design, soil mechanics, hydrology, hydraulics, pumps and piping systems, geochemistry, site closure, cover designs using soil and/or geosynthetics, cost estimation, sampling, environmental regulations, remediation, and environmental investigations and remediation.
· Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) is preferred, working towards a Professional Engineer License (PE).
· OSHA Construction Safety and/or 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher training is preferred.
· Due to contractual requirements, must be a US Citizen.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with experience in a civil engineering role required. Master’s degree a plus.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of civil engineering.
· Demonstrated educational and relevant work experience showing strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Candidates must be highly motivated, self-starters that want to establish a career in civil and environmental consulting.
