Wastewater / Environmental Technician - Pittsfield, MA

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required. College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience.
• Ability to obtain a MA Wastewater Treatment Operator-in-Training License within six months of initial employment (training to be provided, as needed).
• Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment.
• Must have basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and tool use.
• Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as forklift, and pallet-jack (training to be provided, as needed).
• Some work outside of regular working hours may be required.
• Ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls.
• Must be able to work indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions.
• Able to work in a team environment or independently in a responsible manner.
• OSHA 40 hour training and current 8 Hour Refresher Training is preferred, but will be provided to the successful candidate.
• A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
