 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/technical or similar discipline with demonstrated subject matter of expertise.
  • 5 years of proven project management and consulting experience for multi-disciplinary project assignments for the power sector in Indonesia, including but not limited to working with PLN in an advisory role, assessments on environmental, social, and governance (ESG), sustainability in the power sector, consumer data privacy in the power sector, and Indonesia’s energy transition.
  • 1 year of proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary team activities and strong client relationship and management skills.
  • Proven abilities and experience with business development, managing technical professionals with diverse expertise, and client relationship management.
  • 1 year of experience guiding and mentoring junior professionals to assist development of their technical and client relationship capabilities.
  • Proven abilities to represent company at networking events to build brand in this market area. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Indonesian national or current resident of Indonesia.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (reading, writing, and oral presentation).
  • Proven track record in developing sustainability reports, or assessment of sustainability in the power sector.
  • Familiarity with international practices on sustainability reporting and evaluation
  • Familiarity with current Indonesian government regulations affecting State Owned Enterprises and its operationalization in practice.
  • Familiarity with current Indonesian government regulations and incentives in renewable energy, advanced energy systems, and utility planning, procurement, and operations.
  • Existing working relations with stakeholders in Indonesia’s electricity sector, PLN, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), project and with developers, banks/financial institutions, GOI, provincial government, and PLN officials, developers, banks/financial institutions, and research and development and industry organizations.
  • Familiarity with USAID procedures and practices for quality control, including monitoring and reporting.
