Thermal Engineer Specialist – Procurement - Ukraine
Required Qualifications
- University degree in thermal engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in a district heating utility (ies) at technical position(s).
- Demonstrated experience in developing technical project designs for construction of DH objects, at technical position(s).
- Solid knowledge of DH system on production, transportation levels.
- Experience in the design, installation or commissioning of equipment in DH systems, communal utilities in Ukraine.
- Strong understanding of the specifics of Ukrainian DH system operations.
- Knowledge of Ukrainian standards and regulations related to heat, construction, communal infrastructure.
- Project management skills, and coordination of team members, external consultants and subcontractors.
- Solid writing and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information and deliver verbal and written messages effectively.
- Proficiency in English (at least intermediate written, read, spoken, and heard) and Ukrainian.
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
Preferred but Not Required Qualifications
· Experience working for USAID or other donor-funded projects.
