- 10-12 years hands-on experience in the area of test and evaluation
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing a team of at least 10 software test engineers engaged in a major software development project
- B.S., or B.A., Degree
- Experience working in a hybrid agile software development environment. Must be able to apply the Agile principles to a project with rigorous documentation requirements
- Experience in working with functional team peers to integrate testing into the larger program
- Experience evaluating testing metrics and recommending process or other changes to drive product quality improvements
- Good written and verbal communication skills required for presentation to, and communication and coordination with client’s test team for testing operations and system acceptance
- Experience in coaching and mentoring testing team in adapting to changing program needs and circumstances
- Experience with evaluating the need for automaton testing and integrating it into the testing program
- Experience with COTS integrations testing preferred
- Experience with the following tools preferred: Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Katalon, JMeter, as well as accessibility testing tools
- Experience on a government systems development and integration project is an added bonus
