Technician - Irvine / San Bernardino, CA
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
- 0-5 years of previous experience in environmental and remediation projects (investigation and remedial actions).
- Valid 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate with associated 8-hour HAZWOPER annual refresher and Supervisor Training certificates are desirable.
- Attention to detail, excellent technical abilities, project/task management, strong communication skills, good technical writing skills, and an ability to quickly learn new skills are required.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Database development/management, and CAD or GIS experience is desirable.
- Should have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to travel and perform field work (minimum of 75% of travel required).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
Target salary range: $24.00 / hour to $30.00 / hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
