Staffing Manager

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

·         Ability to identify problems and develop solutions

·         Strong computer application skills: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

·         Ability to commit to a nonstandard work schedule. Work days in excess of 8 hours and/or weekend attendance during project activation

·         Ability to travel for short term periods as needed

·         Minimum of 3 years experience in the as an individual contributor.

·         3 years supervisory experience preferred.

·         Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, relevant years of experience may be substituted.

·         A strong familiarity with disaster recovery, surveying, construction, inventory control, emergency management, public safety, fire services, law enforcement or military affairs required. 

·          Experience in managing large projects utilizing multiple consultants/staffs in various locations; success being defined as projects that were completed on time and within budget, met all client and contractual requirements resulting in satisfied clients needed. 

·         Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 

·         Organized with a high-level of attention to detail and ability to identify and address priority tasks

·         High technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required 

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 

·         Ability to understand and apply FEMA program policies and guidance 

·         Intuition and forward-thinking is a plus while working to accomplish goals 

·         Must be motivated and results-oriented
