The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for leading construction management and multidisciplinary teams for water and wastewater projects for the Water/Wastewater Group in Tetra Tech’s Atlanta, GA office. Typical municipal water/wastewater projects include collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, and rehabilitation. The successful candidate should have construction management experience on water/wastewater construction projects, with project management of non-construction management projects encouraged as well. 


Your Role:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for select municipal clients in the Atlanta, GA area
  • Provide construction administration/management services including a working knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, cost estimating, change order management, and general standard practices of construction management.
  • Prepare and lead construction related meetings with clients and contractors
  • Prepare written communication related to construction activities for executive management and legal review
  • Ability to perform constructability reviews requiring the review of construction drawings and specifications
  • Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner
  • Lead a large team of construction professionals in both an office and field environment



  • Minimum 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the municipal engineering markets 
  • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university. 
  • Managed the construction of a distribution, conveyance and/or water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Experience with sewer rehabilitation technologies preferred
  • Experience managing of team of field staff including resident project representatives, inspectors, and construction administrators
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations
