Sr. Solar Energy Seller/Doer - National (Remote/hybrid)

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Planning/Biological/Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience with a pattern of progressive achievements.
• Experience and knowledge of the regulatory frameworks and processes for the full development life cycle of solar energy facilities.
• Experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), BLM, federal and state permitting, for solar energy generation and transmission, battery storage, infrastructure, and/or other renewable energy.
• The successful candidate will be a seller-doer with a strong, technical background in permitting energy projects, project management skills, and client/stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain extensive list of contacts within the industry.
• Demonstrated successful project management skills, especially leading teams on projects.
• Applied knowledge of onshore biological, physical, and cultural resources.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills to convey technical information to clients and business and financial reports to management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass the company DMV check to be a Tetra Tech-qualified driver of corporate/rental vehicles.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test in compliance with state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Environmental Management/Sciences/Planning or related background.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing major projects with complex and diverse project teams is preferred.
• Experience with solar energy development, battery storage development and routing, siting, and permitting of electric transmission and gas infrastructure projects.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience.
