Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration or a related degree (directly related experience may be substituted for a degree) 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the administration of contracts required
  • Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on the interpretation of contract (Federal Acquisition Regulations) terms and conditions and client rules and regulations with minimal oversight.
  • Take the initiative and provide creative solutions to complex contractual/compliance problems.
  • Work with the senior management team on organization-wide initiatives and issues.
  • Provide contractual/regulatory guidance to management and ensure contract compliance in accordance with terms and conditions of supported projects
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract award, modification, performance, and compliance utilizing our contracts specialists.
  • Responsible for updating of external reporting systems as necessary (eSRS, FSRS, CMRA, etc.).
  • Conduct research to support contract audits and other inquiries.
  • Assist with proposals as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Experience in legal research (including compliance review, risk identification and analysis, government contracting and compliance issues) and review of contracts and agreements is preferred
  • Experience on multi-million dollar contracts
  • Must understand and experience with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) principles, terms and conditions
  • Prior work experience with federal procurements (i.e.: FEMA, DOD, HUD, etc.). 
  • Understanding of and experience with US Government Agency procurement regulations, policies, and practices including the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) is required
  • Excellent writing, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Applicant must be able to work both independently and in a team environment regularly interacting with technical counterparts, finance, proposal team, and senior management to resolve issues and evaluate and mitigate risks
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Word.                 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
