Solutions Architect

Primary Responsibilities:
· Design and implement all aspects of the PI System Architecture and equivalent Operational Data Management Platform with cloud based Infrastructure.
· Communicate strategies for efficient data collection, data storage and frameworks for Data Warehousing and Data reporting
· Define best practices for implementation of Cloud Based Data management Platforms.
· Serve as the acting design authority for cloud data projects.
· Assist in developing detailed project execution plan describing all task necessary to complete implementation of Enterprise Aveva Pi system
· Hold project team accountable to approved Design and implementation plans.
· Develop detailed design drawings and functional application architecture diagrams
· Work as a Projects Technical Leader amongst several projects.
· Perform assessments and architect solutions to meet the various objectives and visions across various projects within Energy and Non-Energy clients.
· Engaged technically within projects to ensure successful delivery of proposed solutions.
· Perform requirements gathering regarding Software Solutions involving intellectual property.
· Coordinate with Director of Technology, Directory of Software Solutions, and other Solutions Architects to ensure solutions and design objectives are met.
· Participate as Subject Matter Expert discussions with clients around various Industrial Internet of Things Technologies, Software Solutions, and Cloud Infrastructures.
· Participate in growing relationships with new and existing clients in the existing and new regional areas through direct and indirect sales activities.
· Participate and assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
· Participate in ensuring utilization requirements are met for direct-report associates.
· Ensuring team members are meeting TIGA safety requirements across all projects.
· Ensuring and enforcing Cyber Security practices are followed and met by team members.
Required Skills:
· Able to identify and analyze problems and identify solutions with little or no information from client
· Strong understanding of SCADA
· Experience with securing Critical Infrastructure in and around Real-Time Data Systems
Requirements:
· Minimum of eight (8) years with AVEVA PI Systems.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry performing as lead or having a senior role in deployment of PI systems.
· Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer) or Computer Science Degree strongly preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
· Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
· Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
· Must be able to take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
