SOI Architectural Historian (PR)
- Minimum BA or BS in Historic Preservation, Cultural Resource Management, Public History, or a closely related field.
- Meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards as an Historian and/or Architectural Historian.
- Have familiarity the National Historic Preservation Act (including Section 106), the National Environmental Policy Act, and requirements of other Federal regulatory agencies such as the FHWA, USACE, DOE, EPA, BLM, etc.
- Have 3 years of experience conducting historic-age architecture structure age and surveys for regulatory compliance (including data fathering and photography).
- Have strong writing skills and experience composing architectural descriptions and historic contexts for survey reports and preservation planning documents.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Online, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
