Signalization Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on FDOT signalization and/or ITS projects
- Experience with FDOT design manuals, standards, and production workflows
- Knowledge of county-specific signalization preferences and requirements in South Florida
- Proficiency in ORD and FDOT-specific tools (e.g., FDOT Workstation Ribbon); experience with Synchro or other signal timing tools is a plus
- PE license preferred but not required; EI certification required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for project coordination and occasional site visits
