Service Lift Technicians

Essential Education:
•    Electrical or Mechanical experience of at least four years.
•    Associate’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline. 

Requirements: 
•    Two or more years of active experience in the wind industry.
•    Detail oriented with excellent electrical and mechanical skills.  
•    Previous experience in troubleshooters, commissioners, and leadership roles.
•    Experience with turbine technology and/or being up-tower on platforms welcomed, including Solar/Off-shore experience.
•    Necessary to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work instructions, manuals.
•    Knowledge of turbine and lift-related machinery and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
•    Knowledge of circuit boards, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
•    Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for protection of people, property, and institutions.
•    Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are required.  Secondary languages are a plus.
•    Must have current valid driver’s license and fit-to-drive record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record.
•    Ability to pass a criminal background check (project/client dependent and you will be notified if needed).
•    Travel required up to 90%.

Physical Requirements:
•    Capable of lifting at least 40-100 lbs.
•    Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting items overhead.
•    Capable of climbing a wind tower up to 400 ft in height up to three times daily.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience. 

A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along breath alcohol testing, and a physical.
