Essential Education:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Experience of four years or more
  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline

 

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience in wind industry.
  • Troubleshooters, Commissioners, Leadership Roles.
  • Experience with turbine technology and/or being up-tower on platforms welcomed, including Solar/Off-shore experience.
  • Capability to lead teams, training of new employees, and completion of reports needed.
  • Necessary to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work instructions, manuals.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communications skills are required.
  • Must have current valid driver’s license and fit-to-drive record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations and pass physical exam.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting at least 40 lbs.
  • Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting items overhead.
  • Capable of climbing a wind tower up to 300 ft in height up to three times daily.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have excellent electrical skills.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to include applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production of various goods and services.
  • Knowledge of turbine and lift-related machinery and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for protection of people, property, and institutions.

 

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience.   $20 - $28 per hour.
