Senior Transportation Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Transportation; Master's Degree in Transportation would be an asset;
- Registered as a P. Eng. with APEGM;
- Minimum of 15 years’ Experience in Manitoba with knowledge of project management and technical requirements and standards of Manitoba Infrastructure and City of Winnipeg Public Works (lesser experience will be considered for other available positions);
- Existing relationships with the staff and management of Manitoba Infrastructure and City of Winnipeg would be an asset
- Experience with planning and execution of Transportation projects from the proposal phase through planning, design and construction;
- Experience with Manitoba Infrastructure and City of Winnipeg design and construction standards and details;
- Knowledge of AASHTO, TAC, and other applicable Canadian geometric design standards;
- Demonstrated knowledge with Transportation engineering related software such as Civil 3D®, Synchro®, SimTraffic®, VISSIM and/or other applications of highway capacity software;
- Demonstrated knowledge with GEOPAK would be an asset;
- Experience with alternate project delivery (Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships) and the pursuit and execution phase would be an asset; and
- Roadway construction management experience would be an asset.
