Senior System Safety Engineer
The successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in aviation safety or air traffic management
- Familiarity with the use of MS Office Suite including MS Access and Visio
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A Master’s or MBA may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience
- A PhD in a related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and articulate complex safety issues
- Understanding of US airspace operations
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a public trust suitability
- Familiarity with ICAO and FAA SMS policies and guidance materials
- Familiarity with federal aviation regulations, including Title 14 and 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations
Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 annually. Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
