Senior Structural Engineer (Hybrid / Remote)
- Manage design and structural analysis aspects of facilities projects.
- Lead the structural engineering design for various projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare and check design calculations of structural systems.
- Write condition assessment and investigation reports.
- Design to local and State Codes, as well as Federal Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) guidelines.
- Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited college / university.
- 10+ years of industry experience as a Structural Engineer.
- Must possess Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
- Knowledgeable in the design of structural steel, composite deck, reinforced concrete and masonry.
- Experience working with structural engineering design software such as Revit, Risa3D, and Blue Beam.
- Experience in federal project consulting and familiarity with federal regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- A valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to client offices and project sites when required.
- Structural Engineer (SE) License
- Master’s degree
- Guiding Principles Compliance (GPCP) or LEED certification
