The opportunity
Join Tetra Tech International Development as a Senior Project Manager and help deliver major AIFFP energy and infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea. You will lead project planning, implementation and oversight for the PNG Electrification Project and Alternative Generation Project, while supporting procurement, stakeholder engagement and capability building within the JPMO.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of AIFFP energy sector projects, including the PNG Electrification Project and Alternative Generation Project.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, procurement, risks, financial oversight and reporting to support effective delivery.
- Coordinate with PPL, AIFFP, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, while mentoring and strengthening the JPMO team.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification and at least eight years’ senior-level experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
- Proven project management experience across planning, procurement, implementation, financial management and risk management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills; experience in Papua New Guinea or the Pacific is desirable.
