Senior Pipeline Engineer - Calgary
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in pipeline and piping system design and stress analysis in an industrial consulting engineering environment is required
- Strong working knowledge of industry Codes and Standards (ASME, ASTM, CSA, API, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the requirements of Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA)
- Experience in hot tapping calculations on piping, tanks, and pressure vessels is considered an asset
- Experience preparing registration packages for piping and pressure vessels for provincial safety authorities
- Experience in the practical aspects of equipment, piping systems, support design, installation and start-up
- Strong interpersonal skills for both client and internal team interfaces
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Proficiency in stress analysis using Caesar II and/or AutoPIPE
- Design and evaluation of pressure vessels using PV Elite and CodeCalc is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis software such as Nozzle-Pro and FE-Pipe is considered an asset
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Alberta is required
- Travel within Western Canada periodically to client sites may be required
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
