Senior Operations Manager - Ghana
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field with 10 years of experience in the administration of large, complex USAID-funded projects of similar size or a Master’s degree and 7 years.
- Experience with USAID rules and regulations for travel, allowances, procurement, and grants under contract
- Experience with project financial management, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating with large technical teams
- Excellent writing, communication and listening skills
- Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, both independently and as a team member interacting with staff members and client representatives at all levels
- A high level of ethics, professionalism, diplomacy, ability to maintain confidentiality and a commitment to customer service
- Fluency (speaking, listening, writing, reading) in English
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Valued Qualifications:
- Experience working in the energy sector
- Familiarity with USAID environmental compliance and construction management regulations
- Professional proficiency in French
