About the role:
Based in Sydney, this role forms a critical part of our long established WHS team contributing to a nationally recognised brand for workplace health and safety excellence.
You will lead advanced monitoring techniques and exposure assessment methodologies to tackle complex occupational health challenges — from dust, noise, and chemical exposures to proactive risk prevention in evolving work environments.
Setting the benchmark for technical quality, you’ll support the team to deliver a broad portfolio of projects and play a key role in mentoring and developing team members, building strong client relationships and driving business growth.

Day-to-day, your role will include:
Working with clients to recognise, evaluate and control health hazards
Conducting occupational hygiene risk assessments and workplace monitoring
Producing and reviewing technical reports detailing investigation, risk assessment and practicable solutions for our clients
Managing occupational hygiene projects
Providing specialist occupational hygiene knowledge and solutions
Identifying and developing business opportunities and client relationships
Mentoring and training less experienced occupational hygienists
About you
You’re recognised for your technical expertise in occupational hygiene and for your commitment to building trusted client partnerships. You thrive on delivering practical, evidence-based solutions that make a measurable difference.
What You’ll Bring:
A minimum of 10 years providing occupational hygiene services, ideally in a consulting context
A strong track record in delivering innovative, compliant, and cost-effective occupational hygiene solutions
Expertise in exposure assessment, health risk evaluations, ventilation assessments, and hazardous substance management
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practice guidelines in NSW specifically
Proven ability to manage projects, engage effectively with clients, and lead multidisciplinary teams
A genuine passion for mentoring and developing emerging hygienists and WHS professionals
A proactive, collaborative approach to client engagement and continuous improvement
A Master's in Occupational Hygiene and AIOH Full Membership is highly regarded, as is your progress towards becoming a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH).
