Senior Multi-Media Environmental Services Manager (AFRC)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with a minimum of 8 years environmental compliance experience is required.
• Current training for DOT, RCRA, 40-hour HAZWOPER/8-hr refresher, and forklift training is a plus.
• Knowledge of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and other guidance documents and federal environmental regulations relevant to hazardous and solid waste management.
• Working knowledge of NASA Waste Management System (WMS) and other NASA mission support systems and reporting software.
• Working knowledge of hazardous and solid waste management, and Occupations Safety Health Administration Hazard Communication Standard found in 29 CFR 1910.
• Must maintain current HAZWOPER (40 CFR 2626.17, 29 CFR 1910.120, 8 CCR Section 5192), RCRA (40 CFR 262.17, 22 CCR 66262.17), DOT Training (49 CFR 172.704), and Forklift training while in this position.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing with the ability to drive on client sites.
• Must be detail oriented to properly document field sampling activities, package samples for shipment, and complete chain of custody documents.
