This position leads business development and project management for operational technology (OT), industrial and facility-related control systems (ICS/FRCS), and traditional IT network projects.  Advises others, participates in proposal development, and is a part of other projects in support of OT/ICS/FRCS/IT components.  Serves as EGS cybersecurity lead POC.

Your Role 

  • Works to build relationships with key project and functional proponents in client organizations at all levels (Federal, State, Municipal, and commercial).
  • Identifies contract opportunities and leads proposal development to bid on these opportunities.
  • Participates as part of the project management team based upon the size and scope of the opportunities won.  This may include being the project manager, or advising other project managers and teams as needed.
  • Assists in proposal development for opportunities in which OT/ICS/FRCS/IT is not the primary purpose of the contract but is a component of the scope of work.
  • Provides technical guidance and expertise to others in support of their functions (i.e. cost estimating, contracting clauses, etc.).
  • Serves as the EGS subject matter expert for cybersecurity as it relates to projects (not to internal Tt systems). 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

This position pays in the $60-75/hour range

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor of Science in any technical area of study in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field related to the position.  Network or cybersecurity certification (such as RCDD) is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates need to be effective verbal and nonverbal communicators. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) is required. 
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance as needed for DoD and Federal work.
  • Candidates will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD contracting processes and procedures. 
  • At least 15 years of experience performing OT/ICS/FRCS/IT projects for DoD and/or other Federal systems.  At least 5 years of experience should be managing OT/ICS/FRCS/IT system projects or programs.        

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

The employee must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.  The employee will be required to make presentations at conferences and to clients, and the employee will be responsible for providing high quality written products to include presentations, reports, and proposals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

The employee must be able to perform basic math as needed to support project management (i.e. maintaining project budgets and providing accurate schedule and progress updates).

OTHER SKILLS: 

The employee must have strong computer skills and be able to use common software needed for project management and proposal development (such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Pro).  Advanced abilities in Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI preferred.  Understanding and ability to use GIS software preferred.
