The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, or other IT degrees (engineering, math, and science-related degrees are acceptable substitutes)
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience in information technology services
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of resolving technical issues independently without the need for management intervention
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to facilitate conference calls and technical meetings among subject matter experts
- Proficiency in utilizing tools and technologies such as Solarwinds, ServiceNow, Splunk, Windows, Linux, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom; readiness to adapt to new tools as determined by the agency
- Ability to develop and follow standard operating procedures and complete ad hoc tasks and small projects with minimal supervision
- Proven experience in proactive issue identification and management, with a focus on improving service performance and reliability
- Certified: Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate; Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and SolarWinds Certified Professional. Proficiency with Python, PERL and PowerShell Development highly preferred
