Senior Engineer (Housing), Housing Repair for People's Empowerment (HOPE), World Bank Third Party Monitoring Consulting Services, Kyiv, Ukraine
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil engineering, architectural engineering, urban planning or development, or another relevant field.
- Minimum of five years (10 years preferred) of practical experience in construction supervision for residential construction.
- Experience in at least 2 substantially completed similar contracts/assignments as Engineer within the period from 2017 to 2023 inclusive.
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Good understanding of principles of structural engineering and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and energy efficiency).
- Good understanding of procurement guidelines, contract management and technical specifications in the residential sector.
- Prior work experience in the Region/Ukraine.
- Must be willing to be based in Ukraine.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and travel to targeted areas.
- Excellent command of the English Language (reading, writing and speaking). Proficiency in Ukrainian is highly preferred.
