Tetra Tech’s High-Performance Building Division is currently looking for an Senior Electrical Project Manager with a background in government and commercial facilities and infrastructure market sectors. 

Working with Project Managers and Project Directors, this individual will serve as a client account manager and will be the project’s primary point of contact for the client and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will possess broad knowledge, understanding, and experience with the standard engineering and construction models including A/E, EPCM, or Design-Build. There is an opportunity to support development and career progression through this role. 
  
Your Responsibilities will Include: 

•  Development and execution of a portfolio of projects including project profitability, quality, safety, client
   satisfaction, controlling available resources, project scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements 
   (invoicing, EHS, etc.).  
•  Attending project meetings with project teams, capturing minutes, and tracking actions. 
•  Following internal governance requirements. 
•  Preparing project tools including work breakdown structures, risk registers, requests for information, and 
   issues registers and decision logs. 
•  Supporting the preparation of governance documents including Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans,
   Stakeholder Management Plans, and Risk Management Plans. 
•  Supporting project change control management. 
•  Applies knowledge of planning and scheduling functions and demonstrates a thorough understanding of contract
   administration, liability, and safety issues. 
   
Required Qualifications:  

•  Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
•  Professional Engineer (PE) certification for any U.S. state. 
•  10+ years of experience managing complex projects as a Project Manager.
•  Relevant Electrical Engineering Industry experience with a background in renewable energy, prime power
   generation, substation design, or battery storage.
•  Experience working with utility coordination.
•  Experience with and general knowledge of safety and contract/liability issues. 
•  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities. 
•  Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
•  Strong interpersonal skills and experience helping to maintain successful client relationships. 
•  A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position. 
•  Due to the nature of the work, must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance.
 
Preferred Qualifications 

•  PMP certification.
•  Experience with USACE/NAVFAC/USAF project management systems.
•  Experience directing and managing large-scale, multi-year electric utility enterprise and/or division level
   grid technology and engineering projects from conception through completion, operationalization, and stability.
•  Experience developing full-scale complex project plans including but not limited to project scope, cost
   estimates and budgets, resource requirements, schedules, communication plans, and work plans and assignments
   and associated; identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and critical path, and track and report on 
   project milestones and deliverables.
•  Experience monitoring and updating technology roadmaps.
•  Experience working with electric utility distribution system engineering and design.
•  Construction support experience with bidding assistance, RFI management, commissioning, and field observations.
•  Developing scopes of work, pricing documents, level of effort estimation, and financial tracking of assigned
   projects.
•  Create partnerships with consultants, engineers, internal stakeholders, and compliance to manage the
   development of policy, procedures, documentation processes, and installation best practices for project
   execution.
