Your Impact:
As a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and driving the success of the electrical discipline within your office and region. Your leadership will guide technical excellence, mentorship, and project execution across a diverse portfolio, including healthcare, education, and commercial buildings. Through your expertise, you will help refine and implement technical standards, drive process improvements, and contribute to the professional development of the engineering team. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality project delivery and expanding our impact in the industry.
Your Role:
• Provide strategic leadership for the electrical discipline within the office and region.
• Mentor and develop department staff, fostering career growth through structured development plans.
• Ensure adherence to firm QA/QC protocols and maintain technical excellence.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
• Oversee, plan, and design electrical systems for projects in healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
• Act as the Engineer of Record, leading technical communication with clients.
• Play an integral role in regional leadership, contributing to strategic initiatives and organizing discipline meetings.
• Manage regional workload effectively, leveraging the Labor Forecast Tool for optimal resource utilization.
• Oversee recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring a strong engineering team.
• Support and refine Glumac’s technical standards, implementing best practices in the local office.
• Provide feedback on technical standards implementation and suggest improvements.
• Track training opportunities and recommend professional development initiatives.
• Serve as a technical advisor for any claims or challenges requiring engineering expertise in the region.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in infrastructure and/or building systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Experience managing staff as a direct supervisor.
• Strong background in sustainable design is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in REVIT is required.
• LEED AP BD+C accreditation is a plus.
• WELL certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
