    Your Role:

    As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of electrical systems for water/wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to provide high-quality, technically sound solutions across a range of projects.

    • Provide expert-level technical input during client meetings and project development
    • Perform electrical systems planning, load calculations, and detailed design
    • Develop electrical and control schematics for medium- and low-voltage systems
    • Design lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems
    • Prepare project-specific technical specifications using CSI MasterFormat
    • Coordinate with utility providers and support permitting activities
    • Contribute to project documentation such as basis-of-design reports, status updates, and client responses
    • Estimate electrical construction costs at varying stages of design
    • Deliver technical presentations and support proposal efforts as needed
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets

    Qualifications:

    • 20+ years of experience in consulting engineering, with a strong background in electrical design
    • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license required; ability to obtain additional state licensure via comity
    • Strong technical writing and communication skills
    • In-depth knowledge of the NEC and other codes relevant to water/wastewater infrastructure
    • Experience with permitting and utility coordination processes
    • Familiarity with power systems analysis software such as SKM Power*Tools, ETAP, or Easypower
    • Experience designing electrical systems for municipal and industrial facilities, particularly water/wastewater projects
    • Ability to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and provide peer-level support to project teams
    • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
