  • Review and approve shop drawings, equipment submittals, and vendor documentation for conformance with contract documents, specifications, and design intent.

  • Perform construction support through regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, verify installation against drawings, resolve construction issues, and provide technical direction to contractors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

  • A minimum of 15+ years of professional electrical engineering experience, preferably with a focus on industrial and heavy civil projects.

  • An active Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Washington state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6-12 months.

  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, IEEE, and applicable local/state codes and standards.

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; confidence in presenting to clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively in person and virtually.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SKM Power Analysis software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel for meetings and site visits to observe the operation of existing equipment as needed. Travel is estimated to be up to 10% yearly (local and national travel).

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods during site visits, including the ability to kneel, crouch, or stoop when inspecting sites.

  • Ability to walk upstairs and/or climb ladders.

  • Ability to apply pressure on levers to open/close vaults and large manholes.

  • Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, cold) for short periods.

  • Ability to sit at a workstation and use a computer for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours/day). Additional hours may be required based on project needs.
