Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related geo-science discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
  • 30+ years in a consulting environment with strong well drilling engineering and operations experience drilling wells to 2000 feet deep.
  • Experience in drilling wells to depths of 2000 feet required including angled wells
  • The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Expert knowledge and ability to develop and apply highly advanced principles, concepts and techniques in deep well drilling, maintenance, and abandonment. 
  • Skill and ability to perform critical strategic tasks and to interpret broad strategic requirements and develop and execute plans to satisfy them.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff. 
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Light Work)

  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
