Senior Communications and Outreach Specialist for SuFIA TS Activity (Remote)
Minimum Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of five years' mid- to senior-level or equivalent work experience in communication strategy and product development with the U.S. Government implementing activities in the Indo-Pacific region.
* Extensive knowledge of wide-ranging communication platforms and digital media applications in the region.
* Experience in integrating gender, youth, and social inclusion contexts into communications and outreach activities is an advantage.
* Significant supervisory and or management work experience including 1) direct supervision of professional technical and support staff, 2) evaluation of staff and service provider performance and deliverables; and 3) capacity building and coaching/mentoring, ideally at a regional level.
* General to advance professional written and spoken English language proficiency.
* Nationals from the following countries are strongly encouraged to apply: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with USAID project communications strategy design and implementation.
* Knowledge of preparing online and printed communications products and presentations according to USAID marking and branding guidelines.
* Demonstration proficiency in producing regular bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with input from activities technical staff.
* Capable of facilitating regular correspondence and communication with USAID designated regional and country offices personnel for reports and contract deliverables submission.
* Experience designing and facilitating communications training activities and workshops for regional partners, stakeholders, and country representatives.
