Senior Civil Engineer - Pittsburgh, PA
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil, Environmental, Electrical or other Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 7 years post graduate experience working on civil and environmental projects, with solar and other renewable energy project experience preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in any state with the ability to become licensed in PA, NY, or VA within 6 months, is preferred.
- Experience with the design and permitting of solar farm and wind farm power generation systems in PA, NY or VA is preferred.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, creative and have strong organizational, inter-personal communication, writing and presentation skills. Candidates must be able to meet client schedules and deadlines.
- Computer skills must include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred engineering software skills include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, PondPack, FlowMaster, PVCase and PVSyst.
- A track record of developing clients and winning and executing solar projects.
- Ability to interpret project plans and specifications for all types of projects.
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to write accurate and concise reports.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be comfortable communicating with clients and the general public.
- Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments.
