Senior Civil CADD Designer / Drafter - Texas
Qualifications:
- Minimum associates or technical degree in Computer-aided drafting or engineering from an accredited program required.
- 5-20 years of related experience to demonstrate candidates’ ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software for preparation of civil engineering design packages, including grading plans, site layouts, foundations, and infrastructure details.
- Knowledge of ProCAD or similar software for P&ID preparation is a plus.
- Qualified candidates must be a licensed structural P.E. in the State of Texas or be able to apply for the Principles and Practices of Engineering Exam and to be licensed in the State of Texas within one year. Experience in the renewable energy and oil and gas industries are a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and state building codes.
- Candidate must be highly motivated; customers focused and work well in a team environment.
- Candidate must also have the ability to organize and manage project tasks.
- Must possess client interaction and organizational skills.
- Field for inspections and oversight (typ. est. 80% office, 20% field). Projects and field work will primarily be in Texas and New Mexico occasional but limited overnight travel may be required.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
