The successful candidate will have:
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (desired) or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC)
- Practical experience doing technical work, especially if related to air traffic control or air traffic control procedures and airspace design.
- Knowledge of and experience with airspace or procedures design.
- Knowledge of the National Airspace System
- Analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent facilitation and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of industry standard office software (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.).
- Ability to communicate technical results to diverse audiences
- Ability to work with other people in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Terminal Area Route Generation Evaluation Traffic Simulation (TARGETS) software.
- Knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
- Experience with one or more of the following environmental models: 1) the Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT), 2) the AEDT Plug-in within the Terminal Area Route Generation, Evaluation, and Traffic Simulation (TARGETS) tool, 3) the Aviation Environmental Screening Tool (AEST), 4) the Integrated Noise Model
Salary Range: $109,000 to $112,000 annually. Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
