Science Professional III, Environmental Sciences
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil) from a four-year College or university.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the environmental science/engineering field with direct experience within Commercial/Industrial or Consulting/Engineering sectors in an environmental compliance-related role.
Above average proficiency in database and spreadsheet (Excel) usage and management.
Ability to critically review staff reports using a combination of experience and specific checklists and provide constructive feedback.
Technical writing and professional communication skills.
Ability to visit industrial and construction sites where extended time walking & standing may be required, as well as maintain an elevated level of awareness.
Must be U.S. Citizen.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
The ability to travel 15% of your time to customer sites and/or field visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (MS) in Environmental Science or Sustainability from a four-year College or University.
Previous experience applying fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of compliance and sustainability.
This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. However, the pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal parity.
