The program
Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) is managed by Tetra Tech on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia's development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years. Australia Awards addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia's development; and the need for a strong deep relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.
The role
The Scholar Enrichment Officer supports Australia Awards Indonesia in delivering alumni engagement and scholar enrichment initiatives including the Indonesian Language Learning Ambassador alumni (ILLA) program, Pre-Departure Training (PDT), and Professional Development and Networking Plans (PDNP). Key responsibilities include coordinating program delivery, promoting inclusive participation, and managing logistics for events and professional development activities. Working closely with the Linkages and Enrichment and Communications teams, the Officer maintains rigorous monitoring and reporting records to highlight alumni achievements and public diplomacy outcomes. The role ensures that all enrichment activities are efficient, compliant, and accessible, ultimately driving sustained alumni engagement and long-term impact.

· Lead the logistical planning for on-award initiatives, including vendor management, materials preparation, and participant communications for networking events and "Scholar-to-Scholar" sessions.
· Act as the primary point of contact for scholars, alumni, and university partners to ensure seamless engagement and program participation.
· Support outreach efforts by creating content for newsletters and social media in collaboration with the Communications team to highlight program success.
· Maintain accurate scholar databases and contribute to the preparation of formal reports, case studies, and success stories that showcase program impact.
· Ensure all activities and documentation align with AAI policies and DFAT’s financial and program management standards.
